Last Day Cash is Accepted at the Ivy Solid Waste & Recycling Center

Customers disposing of waste at the transfer station.

Today marks the last day that we will accept cash at the Ivy Solid Waste & Recycling Center (ISWRC). Beginning Monday, February 2, ISWRC will only accept credit/debit card and check payments.

The effort was first announced on September 3, 2025, and seven large signs were installed at the facility. The planned change in payment methods will aid in streamlining our payment processes, enhance security at the facility, and reduce wait times at the scale house.
