Residents of Albemarle County and the City of Charlottesville are invited to dispose of their old, outdated, and broken appliances on Saturday, May 10 between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4 PM.
The free bi-annual event accepts refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, kitchen stoves, furnaces, water heaters, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, heat pumps, microwaves, and toasters.
The collection will take place at the Ivy Solid Waste & Recycling Center, located at 4576 Dick Woods Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
