Request for Proposals No. 26-02 – Term Contract for Legal Services

The Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority and the Rivanna Solid Waste Authority (Authority) are seeking proposals from qualified legal firms to provide general and specific legal services to the Authority and their respective Board of Directors. The successful Offeror shall have experience in federal, state and local government law for Authorities in Virginia, preferably including experience with environmental, land-use, regulatory, procurement, contract, and employment law in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The selected firm will work in close confidence with the Executive Director, Executive Staff, and the Board of Directors to provide comprehensive work and services including attendance at monthly Board meetings. The Authority intends to secure these services through a Term Contract.

Deadline for proposal submission is 3:00 PM EST on March 12, 2026. Proposals received after this date and time will not be accepted or considered.
