REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL # 26-05
SCALE MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT SERVICES
Rivanna Solid Waste Authority wishes to receive proposals from qualified firms to provide procurement, maintenance and repair, operation, calibration/certification, and service support for the Authority’s existing scales and any future scales, to include associated systems (measurement and display hardware and software). Work will be performed at the Ivy Solid Waste & Recycling Center located at 4576 Dick Woods Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
The Authority will assume no responsibility for oral instructions or interpretation. Any procurement questions regarding this solicitation that may change the specifications in this solicitation must be received in writing by the Authority no later than 3:00 PM EST on June 16, 2026. If clarifications or changes to the original solicitation documents are required, a formal addendum will be prepared. All addenda will be posted to the Commonwealth of Virginia’s eVA and is the Offeror’s responsibility to obtain all addenda from the eVA portal.
Deadline for sealed proposal submission is 2:00 PM EST on June 23, 2026. Proposals received after this date and time will not be accepted or considered.
